Hi there! My name is Miia, and I am Finnish. I’ve lived in Belgium for two years now and before that in Stockholm and Amsterdam. Communications are fine in both English and Dutch (and Finnish and Swedish). I studied political science and work for the European Commission. I am flexible on Fridays and the weekends and during the week both before or after my work I am available. I am also available for longer pet sitting when you go on holiday for a week or two.

On the side of work, I love to cook, read, try new places or go for a walk with a furry friend. I love and adore animals and always have. My situation does not allow me to have my own cats or dogs yet (as I am away for work or travel too much for that purpose) so I am here for your furry best friend. I can come over for playtime or feeding, go out for walks, or come over for a few hours when you are at work, having a date night or visiting some family.

After a few years on the platform, I have had dozens of customers with mainly cats or dogs. I have gotten used to and grown fond of all sorts of breeds from orange cats to Burmese and from pitbulls to dachshunds and golden retrievers. Greyhounds will always have a special place in my heart. 

I am caring for both people and animals. I also am proactive and plan carefully, so do not hesitate to book me a lot in advance or last minute. I also have a few customers currently I visit on a weekly basis and one customer I visited multiple times a week for over a year.
