Hallo! 

Ik ben Anouk, 29 jarige project manager bij KU Leuven met een enorm hart voor dieren. Ik werk 3 dagen per week van thuis uit, de resterende 2 werk ik op kantoor in 📍Leuven centrum. Daarnaast woon ik ook in Leuven in een co-housing. Ik ben actief op Pawshake sinds begin 2020.

🐈‍⬛ 🐾

Opgegroeid met katten, schildpadden en hamsters, dus daar heb ik de allermeeste ervaring en connectie mee. Ik besef dus goed dat katten stress ervaren als hun baasje (of was het personeel?😉) weg is. Daarom vind ik het belangrijk om hen op hun gemak te stellen en hun routine te volgen. Geweldig om ze dan na een tijdje te zien openbloeien! 🌻

🐕‍🦺🐾

Daarnaast heb ik een voorliefde voor honden. Ik word instant gelukkig als ik die enthousiaste snoetjes zie! Ervaring met honden heb ik voornamelijk via mijn sociale kring en via Pawshake. Ik heb ervaring met huskies, Berner Sennen, French bulldogs, Galgo's, ...

Om een goede samenwerking te verzekeren heb ik enkele verwachtingen voor boekingen voor honden:

• enkel als huisoppas (24h) te boeken, niet als huisbezoek

• goed opgevoed (basis commando's, voornamelijk belangrijk voor wandelingen tijdens oversteken, langs banen waar auto's rijden, ...)
• niet agressief naar mensen of andere honden toe
• fout gedrag is makkelijk te corrigeren
• kunnen veilig alleen gehouden worden doorheen de dag bv. als ik op kantoor werk, en kunnen ook alleen slapen 💤
• zindelijk zijn, tijdens de laatste avond toilet 8u kunnen inhouden voor het ochtendtoilet (let op: gebeurlijke ongelukjes zijn altijd mogelijk en begrijpelijk!)

Pas bij de voorstelling kan ik laten weten of ik me op mijn gemak voel om voor jouw vriendje te zorgen, normaal gezien is dat geen probleem als het een lieve en getrainde hond is! 💗

🖋️📋 praktische zaken

Voor katten kan je mij boeken voor één of twee huisbezoeken per dag, of als huisoppas (24h). Voor honden kan je mij enkel boeken als huisoppas (24h).

Wat is inbegrepen in één huisbezoek voor je kat(ten)?

• duurt typisch een halfuur
• kattenbak verschonen
• eten geven en drinken verversen
• met de katten spelen
• andere verwachtingen zijn ook mogelijk uiteraard, zoals bv. brievenbus leegmaken

Langere bezoekjes zijn mogelijk aan een meerprijs.

Wat is inbegrepen als huisoppas voor je kat(ten)?

• kattenbak wordt elke dag verschoond
• eten volgens routine, drinkwater dagelijks verversen
• huiselijke zaken zoals brievenbus leegmaken, pakketjes ontvangen, planten water geven, bewoond uitzicht geven
• andere mogelijkheden te bespreken

Wat is inbegrepen als huisoppas voor je hond(en)?

• één wandeling, s'ochtends of s'avonds van ongeveer 45 minuten. meer of langere wandelingen kunnen geboekt worden aan een meerprijs die we samen kunnen bespreken
• eten geven volgens routine, water verversen
• spelen, gestimuleerd houden, knuffels, aaitjes 🫶

• huiselijke zaken zoals brievenbus leegmaken, pakketjes ontvangen, planten water geven, bewoond uitzicht geven
• andere mogelijkheden te bespreken

My name is Anouk, I'm a 29 year old project manager working at KU Leuven with a big big heart for animals. I work from home 2 days a week, the resting 3 days I work in our office in the centre of Leuven 📍 I also live in the centre of Leuven in a co-housing.

I grew up with cats, turtles and hamsters, so i have the most experience and connection with these animals. I fully realise how the absence of their owners (or should I say servants? 😉) can give them a lot of stress. That's why I find it important to make sure they are at ease and follow their own routine. It's amazing to see them opening up to me after a while! 🌻

To take care of cats, you can book me for either one or two house visits or housesitting (24h).

What is included in one housevisit?

• duration of 30 minutes
• clean litterbox
• give food and change water
• play with cats
• other possibilities such as emptying the mailbox, to be discussed

Longer visits are possible at a higher rate, also to be discussed.

What is included in two housevisits?

• two house visits of 30 minutes each
• as the litterbox has already been taken care of during one visit, the second visit gives more time to play and cuddle with the cats, and also to follow their feeding routine, or to let them outside for the day

What is included in housesitting?

• litterbox cleaned every day
• food according to routine, daily change of water
• household tasks such as emptying the mailbox, receiving packages, water the plants, impression of living in your house while you're on vacation
• other possibilities to be discussed

🐕‍🦺🐾

Next to this, I also have experience with dogs, namely through my social network but also through Pawshake. An enthusiastic cuddly buddy that can join you on an adventure, what's not to love?! 🥰

To ensure a good collaboration, I have the following expectations for dogs:

• only bookable as a housesit (24h), not as a housevisit

• well trained (basic commando's, listening 👂 which is important when crossing the street or walking by a road where cars are driving by)
• friendly to other dogs and humans
• bad behaviour is easily corrected
• can be alone safely for periods (e.g. while working from the office) en can sleep alone 💤
• potty trained, after the last evening toilet needs to be able to hold until the morning toilet (take care: accidents do happen and are always possible and understandable!)

Only after an introduction of your situation I can let you know whether I'd feel at ease caring for your buddy. Normally it shouldn't be a problem if your dog is sweet and trained! 💗

What is included as a housesitter?

• one walk, one in the morning or in the evening of approximately 45 minutes. more or longer walks are possible at an extra fee that we can discuss.
• feeding according to routine, daily change of water
• playing, cuddling, keeping them stimulated🫶

• household tasks such as emptying the mailbox, receiving packages, water the plants, impression of living in your house while you're on vacation
• other possibilities to be discussed
