Hi!

I am a 34 years old Colombian biologist. I am pursuing my PhD in biology and ecology at the VUB. I enjoy walking and biking into the forests and parks. But also I like to stay at home reading, working or just watching a movie.

Back in home I have two dogs and two cats. I used to share a lot with them, playing out and hanging out at home. Everything is better if you have an animal as a friend. Been far from my furry friends makes me feel nostalgic. Therefore, I believe that become a pet sitter has been a nice opportunity to share my love with animals. From my experience it has been a win-win deal.

Since I was a child, I have had a lot of animals at home and also nearby. I grew up in a small village in the tropical rainforest. Thus, I feel comfortable with any kind of animals. From spiders to horses I love all of them. Moreover, I am constantly learning new things about animals in my career, so I think this is a good way to combine what I have learned with work. In the near future, I would like to find a nice permanent job taking care of animals in a refugee, in a foundation or in a natural reserve.

I like meeting new people. I strongly believe that a person who truly cares about animals should be a nice and interesting person.

Currently I'm also learning French and Dutch too. Hence, please don't hesitate to contact me in the language you prefer. I will be happy to walk (45 min), visit, feed, clean the box, give medicines, and of course provide tons of love to your pet at your home (max. 2h) or stay at your place if you need it (min 8h/day+night).
