I am Valerie, I'm half Belgian half Nigerian and I live in Gent. I work but have a flexible timetable and can work from home or from the office. I have always had a passion for animals, constantly had them growing up, and always feel my happiest and most at peace when I am surrounded by them. So far, I've had 4 dogs, 4 guinea pigs, 1 rabbit, 1 hedgehog and 2 goldfish.

Currently, at my place in Gent, I live alone and I do not have any pets. My house is located at the center of Gent, near some parks, and has a medium sized garden which is completely closed off.

l have quite some experience taking care of dogs and cats. This experience pertains to mainly boarding dogs at my house, dog/cat sitting and dog walking. Besides this, I regularly go to the dog orphanage in Gent, and also have experience walking bigger/stronger dogs.

When pets stay over, I usually take them on at least two walks a day, in the morning and evening, and the duration depends on the dogs ability/their needs. Of course, it also includes playing with them, feeding them, spending a lot of time in the garden and any other things that might be necessary. They have constant access to the garden, and can go in and out as they please.

I am also available to do home visits and dog walking. The duration of home visits of course depends on what you would like included. In the past these have ranged from an hour to 8 hours.

I have a few regulars that I take care of, however, wanted to reach more people seeing as I find myself having more time to do so.
