About me: Hello everyone I am Ben! I am 28 years old and I graduated recently in medicine and I have a big passion and hobby in working with dogs. I have my own working german shepherd dog of 4 years and do dog sports with her. Because of the type of work I do I am working from home frequently and my work schedule allows to me to walk a couple of dogs here and there (given that I have some flexibility). I have some experience with reactive dogs, guard dogs and fearful dogs. I have also handled a handful of dogs with some bite history. I try to read the body language of your dog and try to maximize the chance for a succesful relationship between myself the dogwalker and your dog(s). 

My dog: My own dog, Nina, is a 4 year old working line german shepherd who is an excellent dog in the sports and a great guard dog. She can tolerate strangers but that's the most (really!) she can do. Nina is the reason why I had to learn a lot about dogs in general but also about working dogs, about dogs with a natural tendency to reactivity (herding breeds) and a natural tendency for distrusting strangers. So far, Nina has been more challenging for me than medical school. There is so much to learn and to know about dogs! 

Walking (main): My main experience is walking dogs, depending on the needs of the dog and what u want we can discuss the length of the walk. Ranging from 30 mins to 2 hours. I also have my own car (pickup) with two dog crates (one for my dog which is huge). I'll only take my dog with your dog after testing them together. Generally males go well with my female! 

Home visit/stay (secondary): Besides walking I can also just hangout with your dog a bit at your home if you don't need to walk the dog or if you have a big garden.. or an old dog;. doesn't really matter. I am quite flexible. Exceptionally I could take a smaller dog into my home for a while (a week or two) in need for vacation.
