Becky

My name is Becky and with my dog Ali, I am excited to welcome furry friends to our house in Brussels. I love dogs and animals and have been informally looking after dogs for friends in Brussels and so can offer references if desired. I am currently doing my PhD so I work a lot from home which enables me to offer a lot of love and attention during the day.

The house is dog friendly with space to run and play, and dogs are allowed everywhere (yes even on the couch!). There is a dog flap that allows small to medium breeds constant access to the garden, so all in all this is a happy doggy heaven. I walk the dogs in nearby Parc de Forest, which is a leash-free park, but I am also happy to monitor dogs on leash if required. My dog is old (17 years) and has been with us since birth so I am aware of all of the requirements of the different stages of dogs. He is very relaxed and likes company and gets on well with dogs of all ages. Smaller animals are welcome to stay too. My parents used to breed guinea pigs and I grew up with hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits, as well as dogs and cats!

I understand how important it is to feel comfortable when you leave your loved pet in the care of someone else and so I will also be happy to look after the owner as well as the dog with regular updates and pictures!

I don’t like to take too many pets at any one time, as I want to be able to give attention to the animals in my care.
