Dear pet-owners,

My name is Paola and I am a 31 year old animal lover. I am from Colombia and I have lived in Leuven for a bit over 5 years now. I am an English and Spanish teacher and I recently finished my master in Educational Studies at KU Leuven. I want to take a break from teaching, that's why I decided to become a pet sitter. I have spent most of my life surrounded by pets. I feel they make me more human and remind me about the importance of being caring and loving every day.

 I have learned to take care of pets throughout experience. At home, we grew up with pets (cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, turtles) and my parents always taught us to respect animals and treat them with love. In Colombia there are many street dogs, so I used to carry a bag with bread or cookies to feed them as they crossed my way. That is very rewarding.

I am willing to take care of your pet, either at your place or at mine. I live in a sixth floor apartment with terrace in Heverlee and yes, pets are allowed. There are plenty of green areas in my neighborhood as well. I do this because having pets around truly makes my days happier and I feel that I connect greatly with them. 

I offer my service as pet sitter which include walking your dog, visiting your cat, hosting them at my place, and taking care of them if sick or when you're away.
