Hi! I’m Inês, an animal lover and dog owner living in Auderghem. Animals have always been part of my life: I grew up with cats and now have two small dogs of my own, Iris and Amy, aged 5 and 10. They have very different personalities and have taught me how important it is to adapt care to each animal’s individual needs. Amy is calm, affectionate and easy-going. She was adopted from the streets and loves walks and belly rubs. Iris is active and sensitive and can be nervous around larger dogs, unfamiliar people, bicycles and certain noises. I actively participated in her training, based on basic commands and positive reinforcement, and continue practising with her during our daily walks. I regularly walk my dogs around Parc de Woluwe and the Promenade Verte in Auderghem. I am comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, including senior, and active dogs. I offer dog walks (30 minutes) and home visits for dogs and cats (30 minutes), and I am open to discuss the duration of each walk/visit. During home visits, I can take care of feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter boxes, short walks and oral medication when needed. I always follow the owner’s instructions and the pet’s usual routine. As I work from home, I have good flexibility and can often adapt to your pet’s usual schedule, both on weekdays and weekends. I mainly accept bookings within approximately 2 km of my home in Auderghem. I am a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English, and currently learning French. Although I am still improving my French, I am familiar with basic dog commands in French, which allows me to communicate clearly with dogs. I believe every animal should be cared for according to their personality, age and routine. Before a first booking, I am always happy to meet you and your pet, understand their habits and needs, and make sure everyone feels comfortable.
