Hello, I'm Serena. I speak English and Chinese, and I am currently learning Dutch. I grew up with two dogs who were my family.

I still clearly remember my primary and middle school days—the very first thing I would do after school was play with my dogs. I often went for hour-long walks along the river with my mother and our dogs before heading home. Those were the best times of my life, getting to share everything that happened at school with my favorite people and my beloved pets.

After they passed away, my family was unable to welcome new pets due to health reasons (asthma). However, my love for animals has never faded; it remains a deep and lasting part of who I am. My professional background is in nursing.

For a long time, "caring for others" has been more than just a job to me—it has become a natural habit and an instinct. After hearing about how much I missed having animals in my life, a friend recommended that I join Pawshake to share that care with others. I currently have some free time that I want to use in a meaningful and joyful way, and helping my neighbors look after their pets is the perfect opportunity.

For me, pet sitting is not just a task; it is something that genuinely brings me comfort and joy.
