Hi 🐶🐱!

I'm Catarina, very nice to meet you ☺️ I'm Portuguese and I work in Brussels, having moved here in 2022.

I live in Ixelles near Parc Tenbosch, together with my boyfriend Rafael. We both love pets and we have been pet sitting for our neighbours and friends since we moved!

In Portugal, I grew up with dogs since I was 5 years old. I've had mostly big dogs and had the amazing opportunity to experience the pregnancy of one of my dogs twice, having had little puppies running around and taking care of them until we gave them away to friends. When I was around 15 years old, we found a cat in the street and adopted her, so there was a time when we had three dogs and a cat living in our house/garden 😄

Moving to Brussels and living in an apartment without pets feels empty. To compensate for this, and while I am still convincing and analysing whether we can have a pet of our own, I thought "why not join Pawshake as a pet sitter?"

Services offered

I work from home quite often, so you can leave your pet at our place to spend the day - I love having company and going for short walks during the day when I catch a break.

We can also have your pet staying with us while you are away. We accept one pet at our apartment. In the pictures, you can see the living room and the balcony, places where your pet can hang out (balcony only supervised and with your approval).

Together with Rafa, we have been pet sitting 5 pets consistently since we moved to Brussels, and we love them! We are more than happy to take care of your little one(s) and assure their happiness and well-being while you're away, providing you regular updates with photos of course 🥰
