Hi there!

I'm Irene, 28 years old Spaniard. I have been a dog lover since birth: growing up, I didn't play with dolls but with stuffed puppies, and I would watch all versions of 101 Dalmatians on repeat.

I pestered my parents so much about having a dog that they got a Labrador when I was 12. Later, in my early twenties, I volunteered at the Apanot animal shelter in Tenerife, where I went on Sundays to walk and feed the dogs. There, I learnt to support dogs with all different kinds of personalities and conditions, from dogs with trust issues after abandonment, to dogs with too much unspent energy from being in a cage, etc.

In more recent years, I have dogsat for friends frequently, from the fluffiest Pomski to the most obnoxious (yet endearing) Shiba. Not to brag but the dog neighbours in my building love me too!

I would love to be around and take care of dogs more frequently, and that's why I'm starting this account! I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, the only request is that they are already potty trained, or if not, that the owner provides a crate for them during their stay.

On top of lots of pets and attention, I can offer walks and stays at a ground floor apartment with a secured garden, 300m from Bois de la Cambre (which is objectively the best park in Brussels for four-legged friends!). So they can expect 2-3 long walks with me a day, depending on what they need or are used to. To the owner, I send regular photos and video updates, constantly keeping in touch. I only accept one dog at a time for dedicated attention, unless they come from the same family.

I can work remotely most days, but if your dog is well trained and happy around humans, I am also able to take them to the office for extra pets (upon agreement with you, of course). Im any case, I would not leave them alone for more than a few hours, if at all. Again, depending on their needs and their habits.
